Beijing Conference
This year in March, I was invited to speak at the yearly newborn baby conference in Beijing, China. Honestly, I could have pinched myself! How lucky am I that I get to teach and travel working my dream job!
I taught a 6 hour workshop and I loved every minute of it. As you can see on the little video clip, I had a translator so I really had to slow down haha. I speak a lot so the poor guy was struggling to keep up.
The Chinese student were fabulous. So excited and eager to learn. All 1200 off them wanted a selfie as well so my cheeks were sore for days smiling that much 🙂
The organisers were so amazing and treated me to a beautiful meal at the world famous Dadong Restaurant. They also set aside a whole day to take me sightseeing around old city Beijing and I finally got to visit Tiananmen Square. I wish it had been slightly warmer than 4 degrees though 🙂
Here are a few photos from the conference
